Refund and Returns Policy – LawthelPharmacy
At LawthelPharmacy, we are committed to your satisfaction and stand behind the quality of our products. Our refund and returns policy complies with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) guidelines under the Consumer Protection Act 2018, ensuring fair treatment for all customers. We accept returns for eligible items within a reasonable timeframe, but please note that due to the nature of pharmaceutical products, certain restrictions apply for health and safety reasons.
Eligibility for Refunds and Returns
- Full Refund or Exchange: You may return unopened, unused products in their original packaging within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange if:
- The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect (e.g., wrong medication shipped).
- It does not match the description on our site.
- Partial Refund: For partially used items or manufacturing defects, we offer a partial refund based on the item’s condition. Contact us within 14 days with photos and details.
- Non-Refundable Items: The following are not eligible for returns due to hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons (NAFDAC guidelines):
- Opened or used prescription medications.
- Hygiene products (e.g., soaps, diapers, toothpastes).
- Perishable items (e.g., baby formulas past expiry).
- Medical equipment with hygiene seals broken (e.g., wheelchairs used).
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is at your expense unless the return is due to our error (in which case, we provide a prepaid label).
How to Request a Refund or Return
- Log In to Your Account: Visit https://lawthelpharmacy.org/my-account/ and navigate to the “Orders” section.
- Submit a Request: Select the order > Click “Request Refund/Return” > Provide reason, photos (if applicable), and details.
- Review Process: We will review your request within 48 hours and notify you via email (lawthelpharmacy@gmail.com admin@lawthelpharmacy.org) or SMS to +234 803 601 0434.
- Return the Item: If approved, package the product securely and send it to: Lawthel Pharmaceutical Ltd Opposite UMTH, Bama Road, Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. (Include your order number on the package.)
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (e.g., Flutterwave card or bank transfer) within 5-7 business days. Store credit is available immediately if preferred.
Special Notes
- Prescription Items: Returns require a doctor’s note or proof of non-use to comply with PCN regulations.
- Bulk/Wholesale Orders: For orders over ₦50,000, contact our team (Johnson Omoruyi, Customer Services Representative) at +234 803 601 0434 for customized terms.
- Disputes: If unsatisfied, escalate to the FCCPC (fccpc.gov.ng) for mediation.
